Cultivating Leaders for National Growth

The Department of Nuclear Engineering has established "GPS" - three core educational objectives of Globalization, Practicalization, and Specialization - to cultivate practical talents who possess a competitive, future-oriented mindset and can apply their specialized skills to real-world situations.

Specialization

Based on a solid foundation, we aim to cultivate professionals equipped with profound theories and advanced skills in their specialty fields. This includes developing professional leadership, knowledge-based expertise, and creative design capabilities.

Practicalization

We aim to cultivate practical individuals who can apply diverse academic knowledge to society. This includes developing a challenging spirit, conceptualization skills to simplify complex problems, problem-solving abilities, information processing and knowledge creation capabilities, and communication skills.

Globalization

We aim to cultivate global citizens who understand cultural pluralism and can thrive in the international community. This includes developing a global mindset, international negotiation skills, and foreign language communication abilities.
