About Medical Physics
Medical physics is an academic field that conducts research on diagnostic and therapeutic technologies based on various physics theories applied in modern medicine. The diverse imaging equipment (CT, MRI, PET, etc.) and treatment devices (linear accelerators, CyberKnife, particle therapy systems) used in modern medicine for accurate diagnosis and treatment were developed on the basis of physics. Without understanding the principles and characteristics of these devices, high-quality patient diagnosis and treatment cannot be expected. For this reason, the importance of medical physics in modern medicine continues to grow, and the need for medical physicists specializing in this field and their role is becoming increasingly important.
At Hanyang University, based on the university's founding philosophy of "Love in Deed and Truth," we aim to cultivate talented professionals in the field of medical physics who contribute to the nation and society.

Admissions
The Hanyang University Medical Physics Program consists of Master's, Doctoral, and combined Master's-Doctoral programs.
